about/

I'm Yashas, an AI & ML engineering student at BGS College of Engineering and Technology in Bengaluru.

I like problems where the honest answer matters more than the impressive one. My final-year research asked whether public derivatives data can reveal where institutions are buying; four of its five stages came back null, and the paper says so. The one result that survived holds up in 18 of 19 quarters.

I also build software that people rely on. ServGrid runs dispatch, payments and GPS tracking for a small business, and eight people open it every day. Tyche logs my sister's spending and mine from bank SMS without ever touching the internet. My personal tools run on a small home server I maintain myself.

The things I keep coming back to: market microstructure, memory for LLM agents, geospatial ML, and self-hosted systems.
